Dispatcher, Full-Time - Spearfish:
The Call Center is the hub for calls from all service communities. A Transit Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and dispatching vehicles and drivers to transport passengers. They ensure bus operators are provided with timely information to ensure safe and efficient operations. They also maintain records, mileage information, and other administrative activities. Dispatchers are responsible for receiving customer requests, scheduling rides, dispatching drivers and answering questions regarding transportation. Dispatchers communicate with drivers throughout the day using two-way-radio, computer technology, and cell phones.
Employees are required to have a physical presence and regular and reliable attendance. Must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills including telephone and two-way radio. Demonstrate customer service and problem-solving skills and computer and office equipment knowledge, particularly Microsoft Office.

Facility and Grounds Coordinator
The Facility and Grounds Coordinator must be able to read, and write legibly, and have computer skills to complete forms and records. Clear speech and hearing are essential to communicate with dispatchers, riders, other staff persons, and contractors. The Facility and Grounds Coordinator is primarily responsible for completing building inspections, addressing repairs indoors and out, and ensuring ground machinery is properly maintained. The Facility and Grounds Coordinator assists in procurement efforts including preparing RFQ, RFP, and IFB documents. Will be able to manage outside contracts with construction and repair contractors as well as snow removal companies. The Facility and Grounds Coordinator must have the physical ability to run equipment such as hand tools, snow blowers, snow plows, lawnmowers, skid-steer loaders, and other related machinery. The Facility and Grounds Coordinator may be required to work in inclement weather with fluctuating temperatures and varying precipitation levels. Must be able to work under time pressures and meet deadlines. Must be willing to comply with the random drug/alcohol testing according to established policy.
